How it works

Three things, quietly.

    Reads the listing

    On a supported vehicle page the extension will pick up the CIF price, engine size, fuel type and year.

  2. 02

    Runs the customs maths

    The same rate sheet and formula as the website, applied at the Bank of Jamaica rate you set.

  3. 03

    Shows it on the page

    A Clearie badge will appear next to the price. Click it for the full breakdown in the calculator.

Privacy

The extension will only run on the sites listed. It reads the listing in your browser and does the maths locally. Nothing about what you browse is sent to Clearie or anyone else. The only network request it can make is opening the calculator when you click the badge.
